Attorney Catherine Healy focuses her practice exclusively on U.S. immigration and nationality law. She provides immigration counseling to families and businesses. She has worked with clients wishing to obtain permanent residency for their spouse or parent and has also worked with clients across a variety of industries including engineering firms, manufacturing companies, hospitals, universities, research institutions, and other corporations. Her practice also includes individuals of extraordinary ability in the sciences, business, education, athletics and the arts.
Ms. Healy has extensive experience in all aspects of family-based immigration benefits and U.S. Citizenship matters. She represents clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service at marriage-based green card interviews as well as Naturalization interviews. She also routinely handles I-601A waivers whem needed in order to petition for a family member.
Ms. Healy also regularly assists multinational corporations obtain the proper visa or permanent residency for their executive level employees. Further, she has counseled many International Medical Graduates in obtaining waivers of the two-year home residency requirement based upon the Conrad 30 State J-1 waiver applications.
Ms. Healy also regularly prepares the following petitions: O-1 petitions for Aliens of Extraordinary Ability in the arts or sciences, H-1B Professional Visas, TN Professional Visas, L-1A Multinational Manager/Executive Visas, National Interest Waivers (NIWs), Outstanding Researcher immigration visa Extraordinary Ability petitions immigrant visa, and Labor Certification Applications under PERM.
Ms. Healy received her J.D., Cum Laude, from the New England School of Law, Hartford, Connecticut. She received her B.A. from Tufts University, Medford, MA. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and is admitted to the Connecticut State Bar, the Massachusetts State Bar, the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut.
